The LSRT wants to thank you for enduring through these unprecedented times with us and appreciates your dedication to our profession! In trying to still meet member needs the LSRT has decided to host a Virtual CE Event on July 17th & 18th, 2020. Technologists will be able to obtain a maximum of 7.5 ASRT Approved Category A CE credits during this event. It is our hope that this will help our members who are needing to obtain credits, to ensure we are helping meet your needs. If you are not a member join now to take advantage of this Virtual CE Event is FREE for all members but you must register for the event through the event page by “purchasing a ticket.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions being placed on large gatherings in New Orleans, and most importantly help slow the spread, the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists Elected Officers of the Board have made the challenging decision to reschedule the 63rd Annual Meeting. You are the face of heroes and we cannot extend enough gratitude to each one of you for your selfless service and commitment!

April Issue of Focal Spot Monitor Now Available
The April issue of the Focal Spot Monitor is now available online by clicking the link below. The LSRT Board decided at it’s July 2019 meeting to no longer print the Focal Spot monitor it will only be available on the LSRT web page. Please feel free to print or to let other nonmembers of LSRT know it is available online.

The purpose of the LSRT shall be to advance the professions of radiation and imaging specialties, to maintain high standards of education, to enhance the quality of patient care, and to further the welfare and socioeconomics of Radiologic Technologists. In order to maintain high levels of ethical conduct, the LSRT adopts the Code of Ethics established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
