Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions being placed on large gatherings in New Orleans, and most importantly help slow the spread, the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists Elected Officers of the Board have made the challenging decision to reschedule the 63rd Annual Meeting. You are the face of heroes and we cannot extend enough gratitude to each one of you for your selfless service and commitment!

Election of Officers
Your current Elected Officers of the Board and Board of Directors remain in their roles until the next election that will take place at the following Annual Meeting. The next election will be held on July 23, 2021. If you have submitted a Candidate Fact Sheet to Jason Smith with intent to run for office in the next election, you will still be placed on the ballot for that election and it will be held on July 23, 2021.
Competitions, Awards, and Scholarships
The LSRT will still award the Technologist of the Year, Student Technologist of the Year, and Joe Schwartz Scholarship recognitions. The Board will travel to the recipients and video the presentation to be shared with members on our FB page. The Scientific Essay Competition will still continue. In fact, the Board wants to ensure everyone is given the opportunity to participate so they have voted to extend the submission deadline for 2020 to June 15, 2020. We understand that this is been such a rollercoaster ride for some of you and we want you to be able to shine in every way possible! All other rules still apply to the Scientific Essay Competition; if you have any questions and for all submissions they need to be directed to Sarah Jessup at http://firstname.lastname@example.org Unfortunately the Quiz Bowl and Exhibit Competitions will not commence this year.
